2. Ujjayi Pranayam:

Sit down on the floor in a cross-legged straight position. Inhale slowly and deeply by both the nostrils. Try to make a hissing sound while you are sucking in the air. After that, stretch your inhale time for a while & then exhale as much as you can without giving any kind of pressure to your other body parts.  This type of pranayama is very effective for those suffering from bronchitis, asthama & thyroid.

While doing Ujjayi pranayam, remember that you have to make a sound while inhaling. When you do this, your throat gets contracted. Fill your lungs with air. After inhaling completely, try to do Jalandhar Bandh. This is also called as Chin-lock pose. Here, you have to touch your throat. While exhaling, close your right nostril & breathe out from the left nostril. Again inhale & repeat the activity for 10 times. In case of heart problems, do not retain your breath, just inhale & exhale immediately.

Along with pranayama, Baba Ramdev also suggests yoga asanas which are useful in curing thyroid problems. Follow the below mentioned steps & get started with it.
