Below we have listed our pick of 7 warm and healthy drinks for women who want to stay away from caffeine while pregnant.

1. Golden Milk With Saffron And Turmeric

This drink is all you need to cure everything from inflammations to common cold. It also elevates your mood. What’s more? Golden milk can be prepared in mere 5 minutes.

List of ingredients:

  • A cup of milk (dairy or otherwise)
  • A pinch of ground turmeric powder
  • A pinch of ground ginger powder
  • Cardamom pods
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 2 or 3 saffron strands
  • Honey (according to your taste)

Directions

To a saucepan, pour a third of the milk and heat it up. Turn the heat off before the milk starts to boil. Mix all the above spices to this and stir until it blends. Add the remaining milk to the pan and warm it on medium heat for around 4-5 minutes. And voila! You could also add sugar to this drink according to your preference.

Directions

  • A cup of unsweetened almond milk

Directions

Directions
