- Black, glossy acrylic paint.

How To:
- Enlarge the image 20% and print out the deer template on two cardstock sheets.
- Tape both the cutouts together and cut out the silhouette.
- Draw 2-inch wide lines on the canvas and yardstick using a pencil.
- Apply masking tape on stripes you don’t want to paint. Ensure that your teen wraps the tape around the sides too so that he can paint the edges too.
- Now tell your teen to paint the blank stripes with the black paint. Remove the tape when the paint dries.

5. Paper Ball Garland:
You Will Need:
- Scrap paper in different colors and patterns.
- Glue stick
- Yarn or long string
- Ribbon
- Circle punch
How To:
- Cut out two-inch circles from the scrap paper. You will require six circles for one paper ball. Fold the circles in half and glue them together to the back.
- Stick another folded circle to get three folded circles. Repeat the method for other circles.
- To make the garland, glue ribbon on one set of circles. Now stick the second set at the top. Continue attaching the paper balls along the ribbon. Teens are free to space the paper balls anyway they like.
