Once a woman gives birth to her baby, she’ll always be on a high alert with regards to her baby’s wellbeing. From breastfeeding, diaper duties, sleep routines to bathing schedules, she’ll try to ensure that everything runs seamlessly. Yet, there may be occasions where, despite all the good efforts, a new mom might make a slip or two. This is quite natural as new-mom duties can at times prove to be quite daunting. So, don’t beat yourself up if you do make a slip-up once in a while. Rather, make a note of certain commonly missed yet important things to help you tide through the situation. Here are few such things that a new mom can easily slip:

1. The Baby Burping

Burping your baby helps release the accumulated gas in his/her stomach. While it may seem like a simple process, it might not actually be so. There may be times when your baby might burp quickly. However, sometimes it might turn into a time-consuming process making a mom run out of patience and skip the whole burping session altogether.

2. Bathing The Newborn

You might feel an urgent need to bathe your baby the moment you arrive from the hospital. A baby is generally cleaned at the hospital before discharge, so bathing frequently might result in the infection of the umbilical cord. Instead, stick to sponge baths as much as possible until the cord dries.

3. Kissing
