Introduce Spices To Your Babies Through These 5 Foods

For newborns, it is always advisable to steer away from all things spicy until eight months of age. Waiting until your little one becomes old enough to easily digest spices is the best thing to do. Also, when you introduce spices into your little one’s diet, make sure that you don’t do it all at once. Do it one by one, giving a break of a few days in between. As you give breaks in between, you will also be able to check if your infant experiences any allergic reactions due to specific spices. It additionally gives him/her a chance to relish these new tastes being introduced to his/her pallet. But, avoid all the hard spices, at least until the age of one, as your little one may not be ready for them.

Just add nutmeg, cardamom, or cinnamon in the crushed form to add a dash of spice to it. So, while you are providing him/her with essential nutrients of rice and milk, you will also be introducing that subtle spicy taste to it.
