14 Fun Backyard Games For Kids

It’s a bright sunny day, and you have all the reason to come outdoors, get sassy and join your kids in their fun business! The more, the merrier after all! You don’t have to travel miles for all the fun. Just hit the backyard and see the number of ways you and your children can have loads of fun. Collect lots of Easter Eggs in a bucket. Build two or more (depending on the number of players, one for each) baskets or nests. Time a race and ask the players to fill their basket with Easter Eggs from the bucket. The one who fills his basket the most wins.

This could be a lot of backyard fun for kids. Pull out the family pictures and stash them in a bucket. Then time a race among the players. Ask them to clip pictures on the clothesline. The one who clips the maximum pictures wins. If your children can’t reach the clothesline, you might want to lower the pulley. You can also have marked cloth clips to identify the players.

3. Frisbee:

The classic Frisbee could be given a new approach. Just devise ways to cut the flying saucer at different angles for retrieval. It will be even more fun when you have your golden retriever to do the job for you  If your toddler cannot reach up to the disc, erect hurdles and ask him to take it through a zig-zag ride. He is sure to have fun.

Kids so love playing in the sand. Filling in sand buckets, spading it out and building castles make up their clever construction works! Join them in their little fun.
