1. Paper Pig Craft:

You Will Need:

  • One square shaped pink craft paper
  • A pair of wiggle eyes
  • Glue
  • One black marker

How To:

  1. Place the square pink craft paper on the table with its pink side downwards and corners are pointing in the north-south directions.
  1. Fold the left and right angles inwards such that they meet at the center of the paper by making two triangles.
  1. Now fold the structure in half inwards with the horizontal line of symmetry in the middle, such that the folded paper has an edge at the top and an angle pointing downwards.
  1. Fold the triangle present at the bottom upwards and open the half upper corner of the triangle outwards creating the mouth of the pig.
  1. Fold the top right and left corners inwards defining the ears and face of the animal.
  1. Glue on a pair of wiggle eyes on the face.
  1. Mark two nostrils by using a black marker on the small triangles on the pig’s nose. It can be one of the amazing pig crafts for preschoolers to make!

2. Clay Pig Craft:

You Will Need:

  • Colorful clay i.e. purple, black, and white clay

How To:

  1. Provide your kid plenty of purple clay and guide her to shape it the form of a pig. Create face, two ears, mouth, two nostrils, and four legs of the animal.
  1. Shape two big circles out of the white clay and two small circles out of the black earth.
  1. Place two small black circles on two white circles and develop a pair of eyes of the pig.

3. Pig-Faced Shoes Craft:

You Will Need:

  • Two clothes shoes
  • Red and white fabric
  • Four white buttons
  • Needle
  • Threads of various colors, red, black, green, and blue
  • Scissors
  • Black marker

How To:

  1. Cut out four white eyes of the pig out of the white fabric and sew two eyes on the upper section of each black shoe. Create eyeballs by using the black marker.
  1. Cut two noses and four ears out of the red fabric as you see in the image.
  1. Sew two red ears above the eyes on each black shoe.
  1. Stitch one nose on the front end of the each shoe and stitch two white buttons on each nose as nostrils by using the red thread.
  1. You can also make embroidery by using colorful threads on the shoes.

4. Paper Plate Pig Craft:

You Will Need:

  • Paper plate
  • Pink card paper
  • Pink food color
  • Water
  • Bowl
  • A paint brush
  • Black marker
  • Stapler
  • A wooden stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • A wooden stick

How To:

  1. Place the round plate with its bottom side up on the table.
  1. Mix pink food color and a little water in a bowl and paint the paper plate pink by using a paint brush.
  1. Draw two ears of a pig on the pink card paper and cut them out by using scissors.
  1. Staple the ears on the top of the plate as you see in the image.
  1. Use a black marker and create two eyes, mouth, nose, and nostrils of the pig on the pink plate.

5. Card Paper Pig Mask:

You Will Need:

  • Yellow and brown card paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Elastic
  • Knife
  • Yellow and brown sketch pens
  • White food color
  • A paintbrush

How To:

  1. Guide your child to draw an image of the pig’s face on the yellow card paper. Create two ears and eyes. Outline the face of the animal by using the brown sketch pen.
  1. Cut the round eyes out of the yellow paper by using the scissors.
  1. Draw the mouth of the pig on the brown card paper, and cut it out by using the scissors. Outline the mouth with the help of yellow sketch pen.
  1. Use the white food color and paint brush and create two nostrils on the brown part and inner ears of the pig.
  1. Make two holes below the ears, thread in two pieces of elastic strings through them, and tie them up at the back completing the mask. Your kid will definitely enjoy making this pig mask craft.

6. Finger Puppet:

You Will Need:

  • Thick, red fabric
  • Needle and thread
  • Small piece of black fabric
  • Pencil

How To:

  1. Make a roll of the red fabric around your finger such that the fabric covers your finger entirely. Mark the red cloth using a pencil and cut it accordingly.
  1. Use a white thread and stitch the red fabric such that it makes the finger puppet as you see in the figure.
  1. Sew two red ears at the top, one red circular mouth at the upper section of the craft, and two white eyes.
  1. Also, sew two nostrils of the pig on its mouth by using two pieces of black fabric. Finger puppet pig crafts for kids is ready!

7. Felt Pig Craft:

You Will Need:

  • Checkered Pink and white fabric
  • Toy stuffing
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Needle and thread
  • Pink ribbon
  • Black button
  • Thick white thread

How To:

  1. Fold the plaid pink and white fabric in half and draw an image of a pig on its upper layer. Make head, ears, mouth, body, and legs of the animal. Use scissors and cut the picture of the animal out of the fabric so now you have two identical pig-shaped fabrics.
  1. Place two pig-shaped clothes on each other and stitch them by using a needle and thread leaving a little space.
  1. Insert toy stuffing through the gap and stitch it.
  1. Sew one black button in the place of an eye and stitch a thick white thread at the rear end of the pig as its tail.

You Will Need:

  • Colorful fabrics, such as yellow, red, dark pink, light pink, white, and black rags
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Cardboard

How To:

  1. Draw a round face of a pig on the yellow fabric and cut it out using the scissors. Glue the yellow head of the animal on the cardboard.
  1. Cut two small triangular ears of the pig out of the red rag and paste it at the top side ends of the yellow face.
  1. Cut a circular mouth out of the light pink rag and two tiny circles out of the dark pink cloth as the nostrils. Paste pink mouth on the face and two nostrils on it.
  1. Create a pair of eyes of the pig out of the white and black rags. This is one of the simple and easy pig crafts for toddlers to make using rags.

9. Toilet/ Card Paper Roll Pig Craft:

You Will Need:

  • Light pink sheets of card paper
  • Pieces of dark pink and white craft papers
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • A black marker

How To:

  1. Make a roll of the pink card paper and place it vertically upright on the table.
  1. Draw two ears of the pig on other pink sheet and cut them out using the scissors. Glue on the pair of ears on top of the pink roll.
  1. Cut a circular mouth out of the dark pink paper and two eyes out of white craft paper.
  1. Paste the pair of eyes on the pink roll and mouth below it.
  1. Mark eyes balls over the eyes and two nostrils of the pig on the mouth with the help of a black marker.

  • Purple card paper
  • Lots of silver-colored circular jewels and coins of varying sizes
  • Pencil
  • Glue

How To:

  1. Guide your kid to draw an image of a pig on the purple card paper by using a pencil.
  1. Provide your child plenty of silver colored coins and jewels of different sizes and help her glue them on the drawn pig with the help of glue.
