You Will Need:

  • 3 ½ cups of icing sugar
  • ¾ cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 1/3 cup of condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts
  • Extra icing sugar for garnishing

How To:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar with the cocoa powder.
  2. Now add condensed milk and vanilla essence and mix well.
  3. Stir in the walnuts.
  4. Cover and refrigerate the bowl for 30 minutes.
  5. Shape the mixture into a 1 inch bowl and roll in the icing sugar.
  6. Chill the cocoa snowball in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

2. Chicken Tortilla Soup:

You Will Need:

  • ½ pound of chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 small sized onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can of condensed tomato soup
  • 3 cups of salsa sauce
  • 1 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup sweet corn
  • Chopped avocado, tortilla strips and cilantro for garnishing

How To:

  1. In a slow cooker, combine chicken, onion, salsa sauce, tomato soup, chicken broth, cumin, and garlic powder.
  2. Cover it up and cook for 3 hours.
  3. Remove the chicken from the mix and shred it into finely. Return the shredded pieces to the slow cooker.
  4. Season the mix with salt and pepper.
  5. Now add the sweet corn and cook for another 15 minutes.

You Will Need:

  • 16 oz. of whole wheat elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cups of grated cheddar cheese

How To:

  1. Cook the macaroni according to the directions on the package.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat some butter over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in the flour and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add some milk to the saucepan and whisk well so that no lump forms.
  5. Cook the sauce over medium heat and season it with salt and pepper.
  6. Add one cup of cheddar cheese and stir it until the cheese melts.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and add the macaroni to the cheese sauce.

  2. Remove from the heat and leave it aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Discard the cinnamon stick and stir in the egg yolk.
  4. Pour the rice mixture into oven-proof baking dish.

5. Chocolate Caramel Pudding:

You Will Need:

  • 1 2/3 cups of sifted flour
  • 2 tablespoons of sifted cocoa powder
  • 1 cup of caster sugar
  • 125 grams of butter, melted
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/3 cup white chocolate
  • 1/2 can of caramel
  • Cocoa powder, to serve

For The Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon of sifted cocoa powder
  • 2 cups of boiling water
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

How To:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa, sugar, flour, milk, chocolate and stir until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish and make shallow holes in the top.
  3. Fill the holes with caramel. Then cover the caramel using a spatula.
  4. In another bowl, combine the cocoa powder with boiling water and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
  5. Then pour the sauce over the batter.
  6. Bake the pudding for 40 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving.

  • 4 apples, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 8 fresh dates, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of plain flour
  • 1/3 cup of shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 80 grams of butter, softened

How To:

  1. Place the apples in a saucepan and sprinkle some caster sugar on them.

  • 1 vanilla pod, split
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

  1. In a large saucepan, combine 700 ml of water with the dried fruits.
  2. Then add honey and vanilla pod.

  • 1 medium sized onion, finely chopped

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan and sauté the onions.
  2. Add rice and stir to coat the grains.
  3. Now add the stock and let it simmer.
  4. Reduce the heat and cook for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
