Sport an attractive looking pout all day long with the Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Moss Lipstick. It gives you an intense color, which lasts for eight hours. This is the first lipstick created by Kate Moss herself, and it captures all the flair, edge, and timelessness of her unique look.

Rimmel claims that the Lasting Finish Lipstick offers the following features and benefits:

Packaging
This lipstick comes in a sleek black and red tube with a matte finish. The Rimmel logo is engraved on the tube, and it also has an imprint of Kate Moss’ signature. On the whole, its packaging does look quite attractive. It’s fairly sturdy, and its cap shuts tightly without any troubles, making it easy to carry around in your purse.

Review
Kate Moss stands among the most famous models in the world and is also one of my top favorites. With a collection of fashion-forward shades from Rimmel, I was very keen to try some of the chic shades from this signature collection. I picked up five different shades. Here’s my experience with this lipstick.
Texture And Fragrance
The Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss has an extremely smooth texture – by smooth, I mean it literally glides like butter and does not tug or pull on the lips. When you initially apply it, the formula has a subtle sheen to it, but once it settles in a couple of minutes, it dries to a matte finish.
Coming to the fragrance, it has a fresh and light watermelon scent to it. However, this fades within a few minutes of application.
Pigmentation And Performance
The pigmentation of this lipstick is one thing that stands out fiercely and is also its USP. A single swipe will leave you with intense color. Also, one swipe feels more comfortable as opposed to multiple swipes because of its rather creamy consistency. Overall, its formula stays on well during its wear time and does not dry out your lips or settle into fine lines. I do suggest you apply a lip liner though as it does tend to bleed a little.
Staying Power
Before you believe Rimmel’s 8-hour claims, let me tell you that the formula does not stand up to its longevity claims. It stays on for about 3-4 hours without a meal and completely vanishes once you finish eating. It also transfers a whole lot on to cups and spoons.
This was quite disappointing for me as I don’t like having to reapply my lipstick too often, especially when it claims to be long-staying.
Shades
The Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss comes in a wide range of shades and finishes.
These shades are popular in the US and fall under its matte finish range:
This shade is a beautiful warm, medium-rose with mauve undertones. It complements every skin tone and is great for daily wear – be it to the office or to college. If you’re looking for a dupe of MAC’s ‘Mehr’, this shade is close enough.
107 is a deep berry-toned red with cool undertones. It settles into a nice semi-matte finish and is extremely bold and pigmented. It suits all skin tones and is perfect for evening wear.
This one’s a tomato red or a bright, warm, orange-toned red. It suits medium to fair skin tones well and is a gorgeous color for spring and summer.
113 is an extremely pale, beige nude shade. This shade is really difficult to pull off and will only suit very pale skin tones.
These are popular in the UK:
03 is a gorgeous pink-brown nude shade. It’s perfect for daytime and suits fair to medium skin tones. This shade is also a popular dupe for MAC’s ‘Velvet Teddy’.
This shade is a beautiful rosy pink. It’s perfect for Indian skin tones owing to its warmer undertones. Whether you wear it to work or college – it’s perfect for daily wear.
This is a pink mauvey shade and looks flattering on all skin tones. It’s the perfect shade to balance out heavier eye makeup. This versatile shade can be worn every day.
- 35
35 is a pretty bubblegum pink shade and it instantly helps to brighten your face. This suits fair to medium skin tones well and is perfect for spring.
- 37
If you’re looking for a red with coral undertones, this is it. It’s suitable for all skin tones and will look stunning when worn on a warm summer day!
- 38
38 is a flattering peachy nude. It’s very pigmented and will look great on fair to medium skin tones. This is such a fabulous color for spring!

Will I Recommend This Product?
If you’re looking for an affordable lipstick formula in a variety of shades to choose from, I do recommend giving this lipstick a shot. On the other hand, if you’re expecting exceptional quality and longevity – I suggest you steer clear of these lipsticks as they are quite disappointing on more than just a single front.
The thing about lipstick is that it shouldn’t be too much work. The right lipstick formula would last long and would survive meals (at least the lighter ones, if not the heavy) and this one by Rimmel fails to do so.
