7. Sweet Potato Soup:

You Will Need: 

  • Sweet potatoes
  • rice milk
  • any seasoning blend of your choice
  • ground cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • salt and black pepper powder
  • spinach for garnish

How To:

  • Bake the sweet potatoes until tender. Scoop them out of the skins and mash in a bowl.
  • Add the mashed sweet potatoes to the pan with all the remaining ingredients.
  • Mix and bring it to a boil. Stir slowly. Let it simmer for about five minutes.
  • Serve after garnishing.

8. Salmon And Noodles Soup:

You Will Need: 

  • Salmon filet
  • chicken stock
  • dried noodles
  • grated carrots
  • sweet corn
  • vegetables of choice
  • ginger
  • coriander
  • basil
  • lime juice

How To: 

  • Boil the stock in a pan.
  • Add salmon and cook for five minutes.
  • Now add noodles and cook until soft.
  • Add and cook sweet corn and other vegetables.
  • While serving, add the grated vegetables in a serving bowl and pour the soup over it.
  • Add lime juice for flavor.
  • Garnish with ginger, coriander, and basil.

9. Chicken, Rice And Vegetable Soup:

You Will Need: 

  • Chicken stock
  • cooked chicken breasts
  • carrots
  • onions
  • pudding rice
  • salt and pepper

How To: 

  • Put the stock in a pan and cook on medium heat.
  • Add the pudding rice, carrots, onions and minced chicken.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat for an hour.
  • Add the seasoning and serve.

10. Lentil Soup:

You Will Need: 

  • Dried lentils of your choice
  • chopped mixed vegetables
  • tomatoes
  • onions
  • vegetable stock
  • milk
  • olive oil
  • red pesto
  • pepper

How To: 

  • Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions.
  • Now add lentils, pesto, tomatoes and stock. Cook it for a few minutes.
  • Add the vegetables and let the mix come to a boil.
  • Cover and let it simmer for 40 minutes.
  • Blend after cooling.
  • Season and serve.

These delicious soups are extremely easy to make and have that extra dose of nutrition. You can substitute the vegetables with chicken, mutton or fish as per your toddler’s preference. You can refrigerate and use most of these soups for up to three to four days.
