1. Strawberry And Banana Craft:
You Will Need:
- Strawberries
- Bananas
- Coriander leaf
- Knife
- A long, strong thread
- Cream cones of white and brown colors
How To:
- Guide your child to cut small, round slices of bananas and strawberries using a knife.
- Put the round slices of the fruits through the long string alternately as you see in the image.
- Make sure both ends of the thread have a slice of strawberry, with the biggest strawberry slice at the head end of the snake.
- Use white and brown cream cones and create the eyes of the fruit snake on the big strawberry slice.
- Place a coriander leaf on the snake’s head completing the craft.
2. Clay Snake Craft:
You Will Need:
- Clay of different colors, namely green, yellow, black, and red
How To:
- Provide your kid green clay and guide her to shape the clay creating a long green snake.
- Make two small balls out of yellow clay and black clay and place them on the snake’s head end as the eyes of the reptile.
- Use red clay to create the mouth or tongue of the snake.

3. Paper Snake Craft:
You Will Need:
- Square, green craft paper
- Pencil
How To:
- Guide your child to place the square, green craft paper on the table with its corners in the north-south directions.
- Now fold your green craft paper from the top and bottom corners making one big green triangle on the right and a small white triangle at left as you see in the figure.
- Fold the paper from the top and bottom corners of the small white triangle.
- Fold the entire paper structure symmetrically.
- Mark the segments of the snake on the paper using a pencil and fold it up and down creating a zigzag green snake.
4. Colorful Snake Drawing:
You Will Need:
- White drawing sheet
- Pencil
- Crayons of different colors, namely orange, black, green, and blue
How To:
- Provide your kid a white drawing sheet and pencil, and guide her to draw a snake’s image on the paper.
- Color the entire snake using an orange crayon.
- Create segments of the reptile using a black color.
- Make tongue and head of the snake using the black color and eyes with the help of a blue paint.

You Will Need:
- Colorful Loom bands, namely black, white, violet, and red colors.
- Loom board
How To:
- Provide your child a loom board and loom bands of violet, white, black, and red colors.
- Guide your kid to do looping of violet bands on the board creating the body of a snake.
- Use white and black bands to mark the segments of the reptile’s body and create the eyes.
- Make tongue looping the red looms
6. Beaded Snake Necklace:
You Will Need:
- Beads of white, black, and brown colors
- One long string
How To:
- Tie a knot to a one end of the chain and put a big brown bead at this end.
- Help your kid to put white, black, and brown beads through the string creating the body and segments of the reptile.
- After putting in all the beads, put in a big brown piece at the last and tie a knot on that other end completing the snake necklace.
7. Balloon Snake:
You Will Need:
- One elongated green balloon
- Small white, green, and yellow balloons
- Threads
- A black marker
How To:
- Blow up one long, green balloon and tie it using a thread such that it forms the body of the snake.
- Blow up small yellow, green, and white balloons and tie them along with the long one such that green and white balls make the head and mouth, and yellow balloons make the eyes.
- Use a black marker and create eyes and nose of the reptile.

You Will Need:
- One white sheet of paper
- Black food color
- Paint brush
- Snake template
- Pencil
How To:
- Guide your child to trace the snake template on a white drawing paper using a pencil.
- Now, color the outlined reptile using the black water color and paint brush. Also, create the tongue of the snake with the help of black color.
9. Snake Dot Painting:

- Black sheet of paper
- Paint brush
- Food colors, namely black, white, and brown
