6. Feisty Tomato Soup:

Tomatoes not only look fascinating to kids, but also taste amazing. Blanch a few red, ripe tomatoes and puree them in a blender. Strain the puree to remove particles of seeds and skin using a little water. Boil this tomato extract with some salt and pepper. A strawberry puree or mango puree makes a great accompaniment with pancakes. Break the pancake into tiny pieces and pour some fruit puree over it and let your baby eat it using his/her fingers.

You can mix apples and sweet potatoes together and churn up a delicious soup. Take 3-4 apples, boil them in a saucepan and drain the water. Melt some unsalted butter in a separate saucepan and stir in some flour, cook until the mixture turns brown. Pour in the broth slowly, stirring constantly, then add applesauce, sweet potato, cinnamon and ginger. Simmer the heat and cook for 5 minutes.
