What Is Creativity In Education:

Creativity deserves a higher priority in education. In the future, creative thinking, problem-solving abilities and teamwork will be the key traits for success. As Cathy N. Davison says, 65% of the preschoolers of today will take up jobs or pursue careers that do not even exist today.

Why Is Creativity Important In Education?

The term ‘creativity’ is often applied only to the artistic endeavors. But not many realize the creative and divergent thinking is a part of everyday life. Fostering creativity in kids can have long-term benefits. 2. Helps Retains Learned Things For Longer Time:

Encouraging creativity by teaching outside the classroom introduces children to new opportunities. Schools can take kids to zoos, galleries, museums, farms or any place of interest where they can find out how things are made. If you are teaching children about castles and palaces, why don’t take them to the real ruins of castles and have them act in the role? The method will also help them retain the learned things for longer periods.

3. Makes Learning Relevant:

Creativity in education makes the learning concepts, relevant by putting it in a realistic context. Concepts that seem too tough to grasp in conventional teaching method will be a lot easier to understand when set in a wider context using creative methods.

4. Improves Attendance:

We know that kids learn best when they are engaged and happy. Creativity in education will motivate the kids to turn up to school. They will look forward to attending school if teachers opt for an unconventional and interesting method of teaching creativity in higher education.
