A cold office with artificial lighting is not a reinvigorating environment per se. It’s quite the opposite! So every time you get tired of working, take a 15-minute break to go out and get some sunshine. Sunlight can improve your mood and energize you instantly (1).

Coffee is a common cure for dullness but it comes with the side effect of hampered sleep. Sit with a straight back. Now, close your eyes and direct all your attention to your breathing. Inhale as you count to 6 and then hold till you count to 3. As you hold your breath, your muscles should feel tense. Next, exhale as you count to 6, relaxing the muscles in your body as you do so. Hold your breath again as you count 3 and repeat the set till you feel better.

And eat it too! While your instincts may tell you to turn to chocolate for energy, it’s better not to.
