It’s almost that time of the year when fireworks paint the sky bright and beautiful. We are talking about the one and only holiday that makes America the country it is – the Fourth of July! It’s just around the corner, and unlike every other year, the parties might be a little different this time, thanks to the ongoing pandemic. You might not be able to go clubbing and enjoy a wild night out this time, but that doesn’t have to stop you from enjoying the holiday. Whether you plan to organize a small party in your backyard or host one virtually, we’ve got you covered! Scroll below to find seven easy peasy DIY party decor ideas for the Fourth of July:

1. Tee-Wreath

Upcycle those old t-shirts and make them into a beautiful wreath. You could hang it right outside your door to show your patriotism to your country. All you need are some scissors, old t-shirts that are white, red, blue (colors of the American flag) and some thread. Tie them together, and voila — you have a Fourth of July front door wreath!

2. Candle Holders

If you have an old candle jar lying around the house, you can transform it into a pretty candle that lights up on Independence Day! All you need are some white, blue, and red paint, a paintbrush and some silver glitter. Divide the jar into three sections and paint it like the American flag. Give it a little bit of glam by filling in the stars with silver glitter.

3. Mini Flags

Once the flags are ready, you can either hang them up by making a tiny hole in them, or you can stick them on surfaces and let them flutter.

4. Pom Poms

These paper fans are excellent decorations and are super easy to make!

You can use a cardboard tube, or a metal can for the top part and stick strips of colored paper at the bottom. Attach strings to the top to make them hang from surfaces. If you live in a windy place, these decorative items will move around and look super cool, kind of like a wind chime but without the sounds.
