1. Makeshift Funnel 

Aluminum is a very malleable metal, which means that it can easily be bent to change shape. Hence, we use it to make aluminum foil. This foil can be used to create a makeshift funnel. The next time you want to pour out something into a smaller container and you cannot find a suitable funnel, simply grab a roll of aluminum foil and create your own custom funnel.

Another distinctive property of aluminum is that it has a relatively low melting point compared to other metals. Combine this with the fact that you are using aluminum foil that is extremely thin – you have a substance that heats up very quickly. The next time you need to iron out clothes, simply place a sheet of aluminum foil under your clothes and iron the front side. The heat absorbed by the foil will help iron out the backside simultaneously. Don’t worry, you need not tear out a new sheet of aluminum foil every time you look to save some time ironing clothes! You can simply reuse the same piece of foil again.

This technique helps remove any rust that has collected on your scissor as well as sharpen those blades.

The next time you find yourselves in need to replace AA batteries but only seem to have AAA batteries available, don’t panic. Simply cut out small pieces of the foil and place on the terminals of the AAA batteries in order to increase their length to that of an AA battery.
