Iftar party at the office? Turn the color volume up and slay in some yellow. If the party is during the day time, bright colors like yellow, orange, and light green are the perfect choices.

If you’re someone who likes to keep it simple, go for a multi-layered skirt with a floral or plain top. You can either go for light shades like peach, white, sky blue, and baby pink or go with darker shades like teal, magenta, black, brown, or emerald green.

Classy Green

A bit of a gold doesn’t hurt as long as it’s added tastefully. This floor length dress is a perfect example of that.

Princess Peach

A pretty net gown is another option for you if you want a grandiose look. Since the design is a bit sophisticated, you may want to go for a lighter color like peach or mint green.

Vanilla White

Guide To Basic Makeup

Now that you know what to wear, go for a makeup that matches the color of your dress as well as your overall look. If you’ve no clue how to go about it, let’s take a look at how to start with the makeup. If you feel that you’re just a beginner, it’s okay! All sweet things take time to ripe.

The first step is to prep your skin for makeup. Clean your face with a good cleanser first and pat it dry. Use a toner if needed and a moisturizer too. While a primer is not absolutely necessary, you can use one to enhance the flawless look. It fills in the pores and makes your skin look smoother. Then comes the concealer that will cover up your wrinkles, spots, and dark circles. Once you apply the concealer, you can use your foundation to finish the base makeup. Always make sure that you’re getting the right colored foundation. Cool, neutral, and warm undertones are the most common skin undertones and you need to pick a foundation according to yours.

The eye makeup needs to begin with a well-blended eyeshadow base. You need to start with a lid color which is usually a lighter color and then apply a darker shade only in the crease of your eyelid. If you want, you can add to the glam with a middle color that comes as a vertical segment on your eyelids. Blending with a good brush is very important so that your eyeshadow doesn’t look like a palette of different colors. Draw your eyebrows right and use a good liner to define the shape of your eyes. Invest in a good mascara because there’s no good makeup without mascara and if you want to add to the drama, false lashes are always an option!

Its always better to either have your eyes or your lips highlighted.

A blush, bronzer, and highlighter can be used to define the shape of your face if you want to take a step ahead from the basic makeup. Good contouring can totally glam up your look! Once that’s done, you’ll need to choose a lip color according to the color of your outfit and the kind of makeup you’re wearing. It’s always better to either have your eyes or your lips highlighted.

Remember that smokey makeup goes better for night events and a bright makeup slays your daytime looks. Now that you have nude makeup as an option, you don’t even have to worry! These shades go with every outfit and you can wear them for the night as well as during the day. What are you planning to wear this Eid? What kind of makeup do you usually like?
