Amazing Natural Face Packs You Can Use During Pregnancy For Beautiful Skin

Though not a myth, pregnancy glow isn’t something that every woman is blessed with during their pregnancy. Being pregnant might not have favored your skin as much as you hoped it would. There are chances that can make your skin condition worse. As a matter of fact, the rush of blood to your face and the hormonal overdrive can make things not so glowy. It may worsen rosacea, cause acne and pigmentation, and even make your skin look dull. And being pregnant and all, you may not be able to apply the usual ointment or medication.

Here we bring you some DIY face packs that can help you get back your glow.

Oats & Plain Yogurt

Here are the ingredients you need:

  • 1 tsp oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • Few drops of honey (optional)

Wash your face and apply this face pack on your skin. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes. Then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Banana Fruit Mask

It’s a face pack that is perfect for oily skin.

What you need:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Mash the banana and add a few drops of lemon juice into the mix. Apply the mask on your face and neck and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Once it has dried, wash it off with warm water.

Potato & Lemon

Suffering from pigmentation and dark spots? This is the perfect face pack for you. The lemon juice reduces the dark spots and lightens skin and the potato juice helps with pigmentation. It is a vitamin C-rich mask.

You just need 2 ingredients for this:

  • 1 tbsp potato juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Blend half a potato in a blender and extract the juice from it. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice to it and mix well. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash it off with cold water.

Vitamin E & Aloe Vera

Things you need:

  • 2 capsule vitamin E
  • I tbsp aloe vera

Scoop out 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel. Mix it well with vitamin E oil. If you don’t have vitamin E, you can replace it with a few drops of almond oil. Apply the face pack on the face and neck. Leave it on for a while and wash it off with normal water. This face pack will help your skin produce more collagen and make you look young and radiant.

Orange Milk Face Mask

You will need:

  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 dried orange peel
  • Rosewater

Oranges make really good face masks. So the next time you have an orange, save the peel for later.

Keep the peel outside in the sun to completely dry. Once it’s dried, grind it into a fine powder. Now mix the orange peel powder with a tablespoon of milk to form a paste. If the mix is too dry, you can add more milk until it forms a thick paste. Apply it on your face and neck and leave it for a while. Then rinse it off with rosewater.

Cucumber & Tomato

This face mask can enhance your skin tone. Things you need:

  • 2 tbsp cucumber juice
  • 2 tbsp tomato juice
  • 1 tbsp yogurt (optional)

Extract juice from half a cucumber and a tomato. Combine it well. You can also add yogurt to this mix if you’d like. Apply the mix onto your face and neck. Leave it on for about 15 minutes and rinse it with water.

Turmeric, Gram Flour & Rose Water

  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Some rose water

Mix the first two ingredients together and add enough rose water to form a thick paste. Apply it on your face and neck. Keep it on for 10-15 minutes and wash off with warm water.
