I am sure you must’ve heard of this dish — sabudana khichdi. It is quite a popular breakfast dish in India. But only a few among us actually know something about its main ingredient — Sabudana.
Sabudana is basically just starch extracted from Sago plants, which is then gelatinized and rolled into little spheres for consumption. It is a very nutritious ingredient as it has a good protein component, and also packs in quite a bit of calcium, vitamin K, iron, and potassium. Apart from this it also aids in digestion (1). While all these great qualities make it an apt choice for breakfast food, it also has a few other properties which make it a great skincare agent.

In this article today, we have decided to explore various remedies which make use of this superfood to target specific skin problems that plague our facial skin. Let’s have a look.
