14 Parenting Fails That Will Make You Feel Only SLIGHTLY Bad For Laughing
Being a parent isn’t always kisses and cuddles. And it’s something every parent would realize sooner rather than later. Of course, we have those moments of pure joy and pride in seeing our little ones be the adorable and innocent kids they are. Parents are human after all and we are bound to make mistakes. These parents were brave enough to share their parenting fails so we don’t have to be the only ones feeling guilty about the things we do behind our four walls.
1. You Got To Eat When You Got To Eat
That’s one expensive mistake. Kids are more tech-savvy than we ever were and that’s just the reality of things. It’s time we realize how smart they are and hide our phones and ATM cards from their snoopy eyes. Better safe than sorry.
2. This One Is Improving Her Vocabulary
Kids always pick up on things that we don’t want them to learn. And they also choose the perfect occasion to blurt out those words, like at a wedding or at school. Anything they can to embarrass us, it’s like a superpower.
3. Such A Waste Of A Beautiful Day
As parents, we are bound to stick to our words. Our little one needs to know that we are not joking and we mean what we say. But be careful what you tell them because it can backfire on you, like in this case.
4. That’s An Important Argument!
Where there are siblings, there’s a rivalry. We have seen fist fights, kicking, biting, and pulling each other’s hair, but stealing the air is something new.
5. Squirrels Do Count!
This kid might need some help learning about measurements.
6. Your Bed Is My Bed
We cannot help but say that he is one sweet kiddo. But we feel for the mommy because those days of privacy and having your bed all to yourself may now seem like a distant dream.
7. Steve Jobs In The Making
We got to hand it to the kid. Barely a 2-year-old, if he could do all that, he is a genius. I am an adult and it takes me 30 minutes to stream a show to my living room TV. Are the kids these days getting smarter or are we brain-dead?
8. That Wasn’t The Plan
Tegan might not be as competitive as some other kids, but he sure is a good team player. Way to go, Tegan!
9. Oh, Snap!
It’s better to stay 100 yards away from a sleeping toddler because they are like a ticking time bomb. The last thing you would want to do is wake them up and go through the whole cycle of trying to get them to sleep.
10. Dad, Why Is She Kissing Everyone?
Watching a show like Bachelor/Bachelorette can bring up so many questions in your little one’s head. If you aren’t prepared to answer them all, we suggest you switch to something else or make sure they are asleep.
11. What’s Your Mom’s Name? Kid: Mommy
We cannot help but laugh at this one. Sometimes kids don’t know that names exist for other people.
12. The Wiggles
Remember how many times you had to watch Frozen with your kids, niece, or nephews? If you have a kid, there’s no choice but to sit and watch Wiggles and Paw Patrol with them. But these are one of those moments that every parent is going to cherish when they grow up and become too old for shows like these.
13. Your Worst Nightmare
Parenting can be a tough job, and with work and being a father, we get how things can slip out of their minds. But we feel sorry for poor Lily.
14. Forget About Date Nights
Not just us, even grandparents can make epic parenting fails.
