If You Pick Person No. 1
Person no. 1, the boy, seems to be the most obvious suspect. He has his head bowed down in shame as if he’s guilty for what he’s done. That said, he might also be the usual scapegoat, who’s always made to take the blame even when it’s not his fault – which would make him humble. Besides, the illustration has been created in such a way so that as a viewer, you’re made to think it’s this boy who’s wrong even when he’s not.
In any case, if you choose person no. 1, it shows that you pay attention to the tiniest of details and are generally very responsible. You’re always cautious of people as well as your environment and barely ever act rashly.
If You Pick Person No. 2
The girl, who happens to be person no. 2, seems to be the eldest child of the lot. Her confident demeanor and her gaze, which points to person no. 1, seems to suggest that the latter is definitely the culprit. Her smile can be interpreted in 2 ways – either she’s happy that she made the boy a scapegoat, or she’s smiling at him to comfort him like a mother.

Person no. 4 probably stands in close proximity with the mother because she wants to avoid punishment and anger.
