Pokemon Go Is Secretly The Best Exercise App Out There
Thanks to this new app that encourages the players to hunt for monsters on foot, its users are inadvertently walking thousands of extra steps.
It has not even been a week since Pokemon Go was released, and the game has already taken over the world.
Pokemon Go is the first smartphone app release from The Pokemon Company, which is making people get out of their couches and learn about their fellow playmates in the neighborhood. All it needs is your smartphone’s camera and a GPS signal, and the game would make you feel as if Pokemons are really cropping up and jumping about in the streets of the real world. The players in this game are called trainers, and whenever they walk around or find new players, they are greeted with the sound of rustling bits of grass that signify the presence of a Pokemon.

As you walk closer, it will trigger them to appear, and when you tap on them, it will initiate a Pokebattle. It will then take you to a magical world of monster catching, and will make you feel as if you’re living in a place where the Pokemon lurks in parks or in between traffic signals!
But, there is something more to it.
Social media is hailing Pokemon Go as one of the best exercising apps and this is why people are going crazy over it. You cannot play this game until you move around. And once you get addicted to this game, you might not even notice that you walked for hours around your backyard or have wandered around in your neighborhood in order to catch the Pokemon.
Apart from this, while you track the Pokemon, the game will also give you a significant idea of the distance. It tells you what’s there nearby and the approximate distance. Thus, the game gives you another good reason to cover a significant distance if you wish to hatch the Pokemon eggs. This again encourages you to walk a bit more. BONUS – If you’re thinking, why walk, you can simply drive to that position, then you will be disappointed! Driving doesn’t help here until and unless you drive really, really slow.

Not only this, the game gives you a great idea about the hidden nooks and corners in your neighborhood that you wouldn’t have known otherwise. So in that way, we can call it educational too!
The game really helps you take brief breaks from your busy schedule, which is actually beneficial for your health. It prevents boredom and improves your concentration, and lets you do something more active rather than spend all your time on social networking sites or playing Solitaire, where you often end up eating more, sitting on your couch.
Another interesting fact about this game is that it brings people together in real life, and you can recognize them as they try to catch the Pokemon like you! The game is something that people of any age group can enjoy.

The Pokemon Company just launched the easiest way to add some workout in your daily life, and since walking also helps you cope with many diseases, it is a healthy practice. A combo of health and fun, who doesn’t want that?
