5 Things About My Partner That Absolutely Annoy Me But I Will Never Tell Him

Now almost 2 years old, my relationship with my guy has been mostly smooth with some bumps in the road. That’s completely normal, I suppose. A few fights here and there only brings us closer, right? So I’m pretty much okay arguing now and then.
Besides, he’s a wonderful boyfriend. He shares my interests. Respects me. Takes care of me. And knows how to please me in all the right ways! All in all, I’m head over heels in love with this guy and really happy where I am right now in my relationship.
In fact, we recently took our relationship to the next level and moved in together about 6 months ago. So yay me! Since then, things have been mostly great. We share an easy chemistry between us and there’s really not much to complain about! Okay fine, I’ll admit it! There are a couple of things about him that get to me sometimes. You know, those little annoying habits you wish didn’t come like a plus one with your partner? You really wouldn’t miss those habits if they were gone. Rather, it would be a relief!
Don’t get me wrong here though. I still love him despite those flaws, which is why I never tell him about the tiny things about him that irritate me. However, sometimes they get way too bothersome. I’m only human, after all. I need to vent. So making this article my safe space, I’m going to share 5 super annoying things about my partner-
1. He Leaves Beard Hair All Over The Sink
As much as I love his beard on his face, I hate it when thick, sharp stray strands of beard hair are strewn all over my sink! It’s really gross to wake up on a fine Sunday morning, and find a few prickly beard hairs sticking out like pins from the sink. Since the washroom cleaning duty is mine, I can’t even tell him anything. Boy, oh, boy, does that get on my nerves! Thankfully, he leaves the toilet seat down after he’s done with his business.
2. He Takes Forever In The Shower
Honestly, my partner is a total paradox! He’s okay with leaving the sink dirty but he’ll take hours to clean himself up. Once he gets into the shower, there’s no getting him out. Come what may. Even if there’s a fire in the house, as long as the water is running, he is not coming out! There have been multiple occasions when we’ve been super late for an event or even missed a movie show because of his hour-long (minimum) bathing ritual. But nothing can make him stop. Apparently, it’s how he ‘unwinds’.
3. He Peels And Eats The Skin Of Fried Chicken
You know this one is kind of my fault for why I can never tell him about how annoying it really is! When we first started going out, he peeled off the skin from all the fried chicken we had ordered. At that time, I was newly in love and I found it really cute and funny. So, I let it pass. But soon, this turned into a habit! After getting a taste of how much better the skin tastes as compared to the bland chicken, he started doing it every time! And he makes the same gooey expression he did the first time, which makes my heart melt! My lips are sealed.
4. He Finishes My Expensive Perfume Bottle
See, I love the Cool Waters perfume for men and so does he. It’s kind of one of the reasons why we hit it off. We happened to have a lot in common! Anyway, now that we live together, I can almost never get the chance to use my own perfume. I use that perfume only for special days. And in every time I’m in the mood of it, I find the bottle empty! I even tried hiding the bottle once so he won’t be able to use it but he found it anyway.
5. He Never Throws Out The Empty Milk Cartons
It’s true. Men are sloppy. They don’t care if you have to make an early breakfast of cereal for yourself so you can leave on time. No! They’ll still leave the empty carton in the fridge. And it’ll take more than half a minute for your sleepy brain to realize why the milk is not coming out of the carton! And since he’s usually sleeping as he works late, nothing can be said or done about it.
Well, these are the things about my partner that drive me crazy. But, he is such a sweetheart, so a couple of annoying habits are manageable, right? That’s why, I let them go! What about you? What crazy and annoying habit does your guy have?
