Parenting is no mean task; it requires a lot of hard work as well as patience. Most expecting moms fear about how childbirth is actually going to be. And, movies and TV shows don’t make it look any bit easier. But, don’t stress about it so much. Your body takes a period of nine months to prepare itself for that big moment. Of course, it is not easy breezy but this doesn’t mean that you cannot handle it. Your body is capable of bigger miracles than you can imagine. And, when you get to hold your baby in your arms for the first time, all the pain will seem worth it.

Even the strongest of us can constantly worry about whether the baby would be underweight or overweight, have high or low blood oxygen, or some other number altogether. Just take a deep breath. If the numbers don’t exactly match what it is supposed to be, it does not mean that something is terribly wrong. Have a chat with your doctors. If there is something, they will always let you know. Otherwise, keep doing your thing. More often than not, there is nothing to get perturbed about and everything will get back to normal soon.

You might have this incessant fear about whether your might baby might fall down or bump his/her head somewhere. But, there is no end to imagining such things, right? But, don’t entangle yourself in all these worries. Just believe in yourself and leave everything else to baby-proofing.

You may have heard about the dryness that accompanies breastfeeding and the soreness that follows it. But, don’t you feel scared about that. There are several creams and oils in the market, which can help you combat this soreness and dryness. It is as important to take care of yourself as it is to look after your little one.

5. What About Bathing?

Your tiny angels might be the most delicate beings ever; they have little fingers, tiny toes, and soft heads. So, bathing him/her might seem like the biggest challenge ever. But, this concern will go away in some time. Just make sure that you use gentle products on your little infant and the one that suits him/her. Once you get a hang of this, bath time will actually become party time. And, you are going to love it!

6. Bonding With Your Angel

Since sharing a deep bond with your baby can make a huge difference in his/her psychological development, you might feel stressed about this aspect. If you don’t make an immediate connection with your angel, you may feel worried. But, trust us, that’s alright. Like every relationship, even this one might take a little bit of time. So, just sit back and enjoy this phase.
