What Are The Things That Wives Don’t Know About Their Husbands?

All of us are aware that when God created women and men, he made both of them different. Perhaps, that is why many wives find it difficult to figure out what is it that goes on in their partner’s mind. And, they can do anything to get a rare peek into their husband’s brain. What if we give you a chance to do just that? Yes, we agree that everyone is unique and one can’t stereotype them. But, when you really think of it, both women and men do fall into certain broad categories. And, here, we are going to talk about the men’s inner dwellings from exactly this perspective. So, stay tuned and keep reading:

1. Men Don’t Want Their Women To Know That They’re Afraid

Most men were raised with the thinking that fear is a sign of weakness. You would have surely heard of “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota” (means: men don’t feel pain). In fact, even movies and TV shows project men to be as tough as steel. But, what many men don’t realize is that those are fictional characters, perhaps due to social conditioning. And, in reality, men do feel a range of emotions. But, the above conditioning makes it difficult for them to communicate their fear to their partners. They just don’t want their wives to think that they are weak or inadequate in any way.

2. The Evergreen “Space” Battle

You might want to share everything that happened throughout the day with your partner. Be it the new office gossip, the kids’ naughty antics, or even the regular neighborhood drama. But, at times, this can backfire entirely. This is because most men out there need “space” more than anything at the end of the day. In fact, they would rather watch a mindless TV show to unwind themselves. So, it is better to give them a few minutes to relax. This may even encourage them to give you undivided attention later on.

3. When They Zone Out

Quite a lot of men can have a tendency to zone out while they are having a conversation with you. And, it might even irk you that your partner is not listening to you. But, it is important to first figure out whether or not they have actually stopped paying heed to what you have to say. Try not to judge that on the basis of where they are looking since men do tend to have wandering eyes. See how they respond instead. But, if you still feel that they have zoned out, don’t accuse or blame them. Just ask them nicely.

4. Avoid “Hot” Topics

Maybe, it is related to his mom’s cooking or the late nights at the office. Every man has some topics that can be referred to as an emotional landmine. And, if you step on that, you can surely expect a big explosion. So, try to figure out these sensitive topics and steer away from them, especially during a fight. Instead, find an appropriate time when you can talk about these issues. Let your husband know that it is not your intention to upset him. You might just want to sit with him and find a solution together since you are a team!

5. That It’s Not Possible To Know Everything About Them…

No matter how much you talk to each other, it is just not possible to know everything about one another. And, that’s alright. It is, in fact, not good to believe that you know your husband in and out. If you believe this, you might stop asking questions to them. This can result in you assuming a lot of things when it comes to them. And, as we all know, there is nothing that irks a man more than assumptions.

We hope that reading this will give you a better insight into your husband’s mind. And, this will help you understand your marriage better. But, more than anything, remember that you are his best friend. And, so is he. So, don’t let anything make you feel insecure. Have a happy bonding time!
